I don't really try to just run it like that, but i do turn it on cause if not it doesn't like to start up. but i won't let it sit a week w/out riding it to work once a week at least. my friends think i'm nuts riding it in 30 degrees in the morning. but i'll start to miss it. and if you put a thin coat of oil on the rotors and b4 u rode it sprayed them clean w/ brake part cleaner u don't think it'd work? just wondering, i don't let mine sit neway.

it might work but i think it would do more danger than good... any rust or whatever that builds up on them will be off the first or second time you use the brakes
