as far as a used kit, it's just not worth it. A friend of mine purchased a used kit, but ended up spending so much in little things to get it working he ended up shelling out about the same price as the new kit.

a pieced together kit may also seem to be a cheaper and faster alternative but you will probably end up with fitment issues(which i have seen happen) and one thing getting in the way of something else. When you buy a complete turbo-kit everything is fit tested and produced to work with one another. It may be a little more expensive just to buy a complete and new kit, but you will save alot of hassles and money down the road.
my kit was used, and its doing me fine.

several of my friends have also bought used, worked out fine.

I guess it would be safer to say. Don't buy used unless you are experienced enough to know what to look for, what parts should be there, and what kind of condition they should be in.

thats true, not every used kit is bad...but i was just saying in my experience the used kit my friend bought was complete garbage. Things didn't fit, certain things were missing and a little while down the road the FMU disc decided to rupture

I forgot about Drag kits. I've heard RevHard is decent. Fullrace is just sick, but quite a bit of $, but of course that happens when the manifold itself is about $1K.

Thanks for the help guys.

The thing I like most about the FR kits is the intercooler setup.
