they changed it in the new manual so now its legal.

the reasoning i was told is because if there bad enough where you cant get out and they cant open the door there cuttin you out anyways.

so the door doesnt really matter. as long as when you get it inspected they can get it open with no problems.

ask your local trooper. this is what i was told and to my understanding is 100% correct. according to the new manuals.

i am gonna have to ask the man for a new manual...although last time i asked (two months ago) they still havent gotten them printed for Div. 5.


dammit. now i cant reject for them. guess i gotta look harder now

I drove from richmond down to petersburg then to Virginia Beach without one. When i stopped for lunch, 2 state troopers and a county were looking at my car. Complemented me on it, and didnt say anything about my hood.

i say do it anyways. if you get a ticket, you can blame drag and we'll laugh. if you get by which you probably will then kudos to you.
