everyone say's the same thing about boosted ITR's..dont see any of the boosted ITR guys complaining?

hey man thanks for the advice. I have debating on what engine should I go with cause I have the money but lots of people say take the 4 grand and get an ls build it and turbocharge it. I think I might go with that not sure yet. Thanks
it will work, but its a complete waste of a powerful NA engine.
HAHA, a b16b is not a powerful N/A motor..it may have good internals that are good in b18 blocks or other heads..top fuel has a b16b doing 400whp with stock internals just head gasket..b16b should be boosted imo, in the end its still a b16
do you already have the engine? dont buy the engine with the intention of boosting it. get an ls or gs-r and boost it if that's your intention.
No i dont have the engine but I have the money in hand to buy it but I lot of guys at my job are telling me to go with the ls and boost it. they say that it has lower cr and I have done my home. For example an ls boost vs a gsr na. I have found that the tourqe from the ls will make its power before the gsr's vtec kicks in. To me that makes me go hmm. So after all is said and done i think no I know now that I will be going to go with the ls. I am not doing my project to have a hot boy motor to win shows I am here to do some spanking. Thats all. Plain jane on the out side thick and beefy on the inside.
nope, i only have a d16, so its even cheaper than the ls. stock bore on 14psi i made 273whp...but that's with loooooooooong ass gears, which shows less hp than the stock tranny. 3rd gear goes to 112mph :-)
