you also dont have to make certain that the clutch doesnt judder or shake when the car gets back to the customer. full clutch kit is not that much more cost. having to redo it cause of judder isnt.

Just buying an ACT street clutch costs $115 for my Da. But it costs $335 more.

just the clutch disc costs 115? fuck....i get brand new replacement clutch kits (TO, Input bearings, disc, and pressure plate) for 125 bucks. and that is a LUK or Exceddy (which 95% of OE uses as stock) with a two year warranty.....

(ACT street discs are pretty much a stock friction material. their pressure plates are reworked stock ones, with either stronger springs or modified pivot points)

the point i am making is when someone blows out a clutch disc, 95% of the time the pressure plate has either warped, hotspotted, or is losing spring pressure.

i do not think you need any form of aftermarket clutch unless you are making large amounts of power more then stock, but it varies per model.

I see what you are tring to say. If you want an oem that's fine. But I always get aftermarket clutches, because the oem always slip if I turbo or spray.
