Exactly...saves you from the VA inspection bs in addition to the personal property tax on your car which I hear is outrageous in FFX County.

You should get thru emissions fine if you have stock cats. VA is different then MD though when it comes to this. MD they basically just check ur ECU if you have OBDII. VA they actually put the sniffer up to the car no matter when it was made.

If your suspension was correctly modified and not half-assed, you should pass inspection without a problem.

i highly doubt that they'll make a big deal about it...looks like a newer car, probably came w/ hids (in most old mechanics minds)

either that or find a younger guy who's down w/ modified cars

they have a little block looking thing on a pole... they bring it up to ur car and if ur bumper cant clear the block thingy then they just say go around to the front and they sign it off and say they will see me in 2 years.

MD is not strict about it...they don't wanna take the liability of ripping your bumper off of the car putting it on the emissions rollers, so they play it safe and write ya off. Also, I've heard from someone who used to work MD emissions that if you show up with tires that have a sidewall that is 40 or less, they write ya off.
