haha josh u know i have a bigger turbo u weirdo and yea the spool up was hurt a lil but damn when it hits now it really goes! time to get that tuning software from cobb (whenever it comes out) and turn up the boost! and the intercooler is turbo xs it is the new one they just came out with! got a hell of a deal on it to!
200rpm!!!! FMIC on my car probably does something like 1000rpm+ lag.
naw thats what people think...but its not that much. Depending on the I/C press drop and length and bends of plumbing it can vary anywhere from 150-300rpm loss. When I used to sell turbo kits the rpm loss in spool up time was in the 200rpm range vs a non-intercooled kit. Most WRX FMIC kits are in that range. Its possible to gain a bit of lag from a very inefficient chiller but the ones TurboXS use are the shit. So he should not experience that much lag. But he will not get heat soak
I always questioned the idiotic idea of putting a cooler on top of a hot ass motor. V mount on the other hand icorporates best of both worlds. Short piping and optimal cooling
