The shitty, poorly taken care of dragway also simulates the feel of Bells Road.

all you straight line only cars i've hauled down from over 140 many times.. you need good brakes.. good suspension doesnt hurt

also they have no 11 second 1/4 mile limit. you just have to be legal.

now bust some low 9's and they will be on you to slow down or run 1/8th... (remind most 'dragonly' cars are still under 140mph at low 9's.)

i forgot to add.. where is the evidence of the time display boards? last i read on their forum that all we were getting was crappy ass dial in boards

The race surface is smooth imo, its the cool down area that gets bumpy.

You guys are a trip.... Richmond was ground down two years ago and its pretty smooth. I am a serious Drag racer and it will outhook VMP on any Race Day. If your talking about street night, yeah they dont treat it as well beacause they want STREET cars to run. I have been 9's on this track with no problems on a bike and in a car.

VMP is a nicer facility for sure, but the people are true pains in the A$$....

Please, go to VMP...less cars at Richmond means more runs for us I used to only go to VMP but that place is run by a bunch of fucking neandrethals. I won't go there unless Richmond is closed.

I'm with ya man! I've always gotten as many runs as I wanted too and my Z hooks every bit as good at Richmond as it does at VMP. On a 315/35/17" drag radial I've pulled a 1.70 60ft at Richmond so it can't be that bad right?

Richmond hooks better for me too. I'm usually 1/10th or so faster there, although my best time this year came at VMP, but I never got a chance to run it in decent weather at Richmond.
