no m3 but I guess I know a lot about them. From what I understand the sedans are the same wieght so do it!

yep same weight... and from what i hear from owners theres no differences in the handling either!

Ummm, I have an M Coupe.

I've had it for about two years now and no problems so far. The S52 engine is a work horse and it's hard to break. I say you should go for it, I have yet to met someone who has gotten one and not liked it.

who is this idiot trading a e36 m3 for a Si and a swap?

send him my way so i can give him a nice hot steaming pile of crap for his m3.He's going from sugar to shit.

not to downplay your car. im just telling you to go for the m3 and loose the civic.

I think you are leaving out key factors like a Type R motor and a turbo. I'm not going to defend the creator of the thread but it's not just an Si with a swap.

hahh its not just an si with a swap.. everything in this car was built for a specific purpose.. and e36s m3's are going for less than nicely built civics...
ask anyone who has seen or been in my si... they ALL will tell you that its much nicer than your typical modified civic...

There's a guy in IL on bimmerforums selling a 95 M3 with 55K miles for $13,000.00 including a chip, cams, exhaust and 18's.

yeah so far ive been offered 3 95's.. im holding out for a sedan though
