tattoo shops?
Jinx Proof is good, I got a tattoo from them and a couple peirceings.
My buddy has a shop down in stafford, I will have to find out the name/location.
Good tattoos aren't cheap and Cheap tattoos aren't good.

If you go to Jinxproof, talk to Carl.
I got my first one done by Rick @ Ricks in Arlington.
I've also gotten work done at Exposed Temptaion in Manassas. Unfortunately, Scott, who did it has left and is in PA now.
If you are in the 757, Dave at Blue Horeshoe is very good.

FROM JINXPROOF..NOT ME
the only good tattoo shops in this area are these:
1. jinx proof in dc. (i am the owner). lol. but seriously, check out their work and ask around. dave waugh is an internationally famous tattoo artist. but all the guys and we even have a girl have been tattooing for a long time and are very good. eric doyle used to own 2 shops in texas and has been tattooing for 12 years. his wife for 10. tony morrell is also very well known and has been tattooing for 11-12 years. he does great black and grey work as well as great japanese stuff. grant cobb came to us as a youngster from exposed temtations but has since learned alot and his tattoes look crazy. just check out the web site. your friend naji used to come to the shop alot..
2. alive gallery in richmond. timothy hoyer needs no introduction. if you don't know who he is, do some homework. very nice guy and does one hell of a mean tattoo. lol.
3. honkeytonk in fredericksburg. owned by gary clarke. he used to work for me and he's been tattooing for probably 12-13 years. good guy and great tattooer. check out his web site. he's got a guy there named keeny brown who is also a decent artist.
4. stay true tattoo in falls church. i have my differences with these people but i will be unbiased here. jason camfiord is a good tattooer. if you go there, get tattooed by him and no one else. finding the location on your own though can be somewhat of a mystery and it will be difficult getting an appointment with jason.
5. james marlowe at "comes a time tattoo". fairfax, va. awsome tattooer, awsome guy. you'll need an appointment for sure. stick with him.
6. seth ciferri, brady duncan, matt rinks, and tom beasley all are excellent tattooers and work out of various shops in baltimore. i can give you any one of their contacts if someone needs them.
if i mentioned a shop name, that does not mean that everyone or anyone at that shop is good. the people i mentioned specifically are the ones that are the best tattooers in this area. if i didn't mention a person specifically by name on this thread, then they are not someone you should go to if you want an above average tattoo or custom work. that may offend some here, and so be it, but you want to know who's the best in this area, i have given their names to you. there are other people i did not mention that are decent tattooers and are capable of putting a decent tattoo on you, but thats not really what you should be looking for.

My friend got his tattoo done at jinxproof and it turned out REALLY nice and the detail is very clear...
I visisted "Come's a time" in fairfax, but they had a waiting list for their shop...I ended up going to Rick's Tattoos in Arlington and got my tattoo done by Addie...she did a real nice job on my cross on my back and shaded it very nicely...took her about 3 hours and they're really not that busy and fairly INexpensive for their quality work..
Their info is
