Which dyno

Re: Which dyno
Ours is a Dynojet 224x. And you are correct, sorta. If calibrated and run properly, a Mustang Dyno can do much more then any DynoJet can, but accuracy wise, DynoJet is the leader for dynamometers.
Then again, the only Mustang dyno in the area doesn't even have air/fuel...so it's not like you can tune there. And if my memory serves me, you have a turbo Prelude? If so it's quite vital to know where you stand with your mixture. But you knew that.

Re: Which dyno
PA is a great place I would definintly take my car there.
As far as the most accurate for tuning I have heard that mustang dynos simulate the load your engine sees in realife driving on the street better than what a dynojet does. In other words I would shoot for richer afr's on the dynojet than you really want.

Re: Which dyno
Yes..., from what I've read a mustang dyno can accurately assess your power as if you're on the street, using inertia and even wind speed in some cases...where as most dynojets is just like your car running in mid-air with no physics involved.
But anyway, definitely Performance Autosport, will probably come in the end of this week or sometime next week. Can I go up the new 288, get off at broad, and get there?
Thanks
