Though I understand this from a business point of view, it still cracks me up that they went to this much trouble to make something like this... Dodge must be losing there ass on warranty claims for the srt-4 in order for them to take it this fare.
Really the only owners I feel sorry for in this are those who buy the car and leave it stock with no modification done to it. I know there is atlest one middle age woman that drives a SRT around here, I just hope she never has to take it in for warranty work since this document makes it open hunting on all owners...

honestly though, what is the surprise here? dealerships do this all over the country. the car company/dealership is not responsible for car owners that make modifications to their cars. maybe i'm missing something, but that seems pretty reasonable to me. i know for a fact that Subaru dealerships have been this way for awhile now.

One guy I read about took his car in because it had a CEL on. It ended up being a misfire which happened in the 03 a lot. The dealership actually tried to void his warranty because they said he had altered the exhaust and removed the mufflers which aloud for less back pressure which in turn created his misfire problem. The guy had never touched any part of the car, so he had to call dodges customer service and complain to get them to call the dealership and tell them that it came that way from the factory....
