Its not all about the hp when upgrading to hondata or chipping your ecu, it could raise your redline, vtec engagement(on vtec motors obviously), etc.

i wouldn't bother getting hondata unless you get a phenominal deal on one. hondata's are really only worth the money and tuning if you have boost or have messed around with the engine enough to have a different compression ratio/bore/cams. you can do what someone already suggested and build the head...but it would probably be much more worth it to find a vtec head and get it tuned then.

if you spend the money on hondata and put it on your stock ls with no power adders, or descent mods( such as bigger cams,higher compression internals, forced induction), you will be very dissapointed......

yeah.. it would be a huge waste to use hondata on an ls motor if its not decently built, yould be better off getting a SAFC and tuning on that...

yours is modified enough to benefit from it, but it would be cheaper for you to just use emanage...
