little trick of the trade.

take a 1/2" ractchet or breaker bar.

but it on the bolt for the crank. make sure the handle it long enough to hit the ground. (make sure its already touching the ground)

tap the ignition but please for the love of god do not start the car.

your crank will no become loose.

if this doesnt work buy a new motor.

Put that shit in gear - have a friend hold their foot on the brake as hard as they fucking can - try again.

1. Disconnect a few spark plug wires so the engine doesn't start.
2. Sometimes even this doesn't work.. those bolts can get fucking tight and an airgun or a huge breaker bar can make more power than a puny Honda starter.

nope. 4lbs/less then a normal impact gun actually.

i have NEVER met a honda crank bolt mine will not get off. ever.

there is a special holding tool that goes in the large hex on the crank pulley, but its pointless to me.

That would be the one. I have two of them. One at home, and one at work. The best impact out there imo

What you do is take that puny 400 ft lbs impact wrench, and do a little port and polishing on it then those pulleys come right off.

It is a regular bolt and can be taken off, but it is held on by the hand of god I think...
