Ok, but on a serious note, even if it's quieter than stock, it's still illegal. If you'd like me to post that a few more times I can. I'm not sure how long it will take you to get that through your riced-out skull. Maybe 7 times?

 

Everything is illegal in Virginia. I have been given a citation for having an aftermarket hood and spoiler so who gives a fuck anymore anyhow.

 

i'm the same way except i'll set off cars quite a distance away form my car. i have catless 3" exhaust and i shoot flames all day and i never get pulled. it passed inspection too. no questions ask (actually they failed me cuz my defroster button wasnt working, so i had to fix that). i altered my brothers exhaust on his rx7, welded it on myself and made the hangers too. he was passed without question. i have never been pulled by a cop about my exhaust for the 2 years that i have been driving loud cars. the key thing is to just not be spooling up your turbo (if u have one) and to keep it below a reasonable noise level when going thru your gears.

in fact, i drove in my eagle talon without a complete exhaust system for 2 weeks. never got a problem about it. and believe me that my car was deafening loud. i guess it depends on the kinda areas you are rolling thru and where you live.

 

yeah i agree with qwiksillva, i know lots of guys that run catless systems in the 757 and don't get hassled, f-bodies and mustangs get no police but imports get a little more attention from the man, heck in nova the police make all their money by citing for exhaust and other mods... just keep it resonable and don't rev high unless you got a reason...
