auto solutions maybe......depends on what kind of rebuild 1200 gets me. There is this place called pinnapple racing that is supposed to be real good and cheap. I will have to wait untill I can get me a loan its kinda of hard to get to a bank with no car you know.......I really dont want to have to pull the motor myself because I have neither the time or place to do it and no I cant use the long term hobby shop because they are full I was told....could be wrong.

And vortec8psi (dave) your car is blown the f$%^ up too so what you talking and my car was already faster than yours. Remember this if you cant put the power to the ground what good is it? also 90% driver 10% car...............I am only messing with you so dont blow up and come back on here crying this isnt why I started this tread I dont want to have to search through shit talking to find answers goes for you to alan. I will check back on here friday I wont be here all week. But thanks for the help so far guys.

P.S. any of you guys have a compression tester??? I want to see how many seals I popped.

check them w/ your finger......pull both leading plugs..pull your fuel pump relay and coils connections. stick you finger in one of the leading (lower) holes and have someone turn the engine over... you *WILL* know which rotor you popped them on and how many. Randy Martin and I can pull the engine for you also.....

If the car still runs kind of smooth but just down on power, you lost at least 2 seals. if it's a really rough lawnmower-like run, then you just lost one.
if you can't/don't want to pull it, have Randy and Shannon do it.

Pineapple builds AMAZING motors.

However, none of their rebuilds are that cheap.

There's a guy on the big rx7club forum in VA beach that rebuilds motors on the side...people claim he's done some good work.

Well here is what I think I am going to do I can get a fresh rebuild for 2400 and and get to keep the old motor. I want to do this so I can tear down the blown one and teach myself how to rebuild them I know they sell a video out there that goes through a complete rebuild. Also this will give me a spare motor to have so when I pop one again it will be nothing but a swap.

Aaron the car started out idling wierd while having a noticable loss of power. then on the street outside my house I punched it in second (cause I was pissed that the car was dying) and it fell flat on its face and started to run really horrible would go over 20mph. Now it wont start at all. But before I shut it off I held my hand over the exhaust and could notice a pause in exhaust pulse like it was missing a couple of rotor faces firing.

I know this I will be getting me a back up car soon something new witha warranty so if I blow it up it gets fixed for almost free.

At least you'll be getting yours back up soon. The money I had to go for the new motor ended up going towards a bunch of bills and etc. So, I have to wait a while until I can get my new motor. I'm hoping by at least May though.
Don't use the guy in VB. He rebuilt my 93 RX7 and messed it up. He gave it back to me not running, still disassembled some and missing parts. The car was flodding out like fuck, turned out to just be injector O-rings (part of a rebuild). When we did get it started, it was missing one of my blockoff plates, it just jump off the intake...? My strut bar is in the trunk, a piece of my interior is too (I don't know why the interior had to come too?). Needless to say, I was MOST unpleased with that rebuild.
