as far as racing it on a road course yes i wouldn't bother, but a track day isn't a race so there really is no wrong bike, i've been out there with guys on ninja 250's, moto guzzi's, and even a honda valkyrie, the famous nick slick takes his busa to track days, just tell him to ride at a pace he's comfortable with and just remember he might not be able to hang through the tight stuff with a equal or better rider on a real superbike, but theres always someone slower and i'm sure with some time he could embarress alot of guys that would otherwise laugh at a busa getting on the track, its more fun that way too everyone expects you to be faster than you probably are on a 600 or 1000

eh, whenever the weather is good. Ive been riding here and there lately sorta just down jefferson and back. Havnt had the chance to get out on a good 60+ day yet that hasnt rained on me. It was looking promising me for Sunday. I checked yesterday and it said 63 degree's and sunny. I just checked now and they are calling for rain and 54. Plus also i just remembered as im typing this that Sunday is easter sunday anyway.

So i guess the answer to your question is...

well, whenever this weather stop's being gay. This is driving me nuts.

 

i always liked the busa, but i wish they update it like they do the GSXR.

bikes will never outhandle a car in the corners.....

cars cant accelerate as hard, but will go faster on top end than a bike {better aerodynamics, bikes have a HUGE frontal area} and uhh yeah...

even a stock busa will run a 9.90 in the 1/4 with the propper rider.

so maybe a zx10 is "faster" but is it? maybe its just quicker... anyhow. who ever is the better rider, reguardless of bike is going to win, 9 times out of 10.
