yea heard good things about redline... shit like that just burns me up though, its the reason i get so many customers coming in already feeling like they are being ripped off before they even walk in the door because they are used to it other places
Stay Away from "CYCLE WORLD" on Va. Beach boulevard too. They have got allot of bullshit with them too. I had to get an attorney to get my stuff straight with them.
customer just called again, they didn't really have it in stock so they had to order it, if so it should have been there 3 or 4 days ago so either they took their sweet time ordering it or took their sweet time calling him after it came in... they were supposed to ship it over night to me, but they didn't so he had to drive 2 hours there and two hours back to pick the exhaust up and bring it to us
a good friend of mine worked there for 20 years and last year had a bad accident on the job. to make a long story short, they tried denying his claim and so he sued sunrise for mega bucks. pretty shitty if you ask me. guy puts 20 years in at a job and they offer no remorse.
Only place I haven't heard complaints about or had them piss me off personally is red line up in yorktown
Yeah, they were really good to me when i came in looking for a new clutch lever. I didnt want to do business with Casey anymore because i felt like they dicked me over. They said they were gonna have a look at my tire back when it got punctured. I've never had a flat, let alone have a tire repaired, so i didnt know they were going to need to take the tire off (cause i could have done that myself). Basically i got charged 60 bucks for them taking the tire off all so they could tell me that they could repair/plug it, and then they immediately offered me a deal on some Diablos. I said no, i want metzlers so i went to Bret to get'em. So they needed me to come move the bike out of their garage because they had more customers, but i atleast need to flat on the bike so i could movie it outside the garage, so i told them to put it back on. Those dicks turned around and charged me another fucking 60 bucks for doing that. I mean, i understand you have to pay a flat rate for labor, buts lets be serious here, taking a tire on and off the bike is not exactly labor. I do it without the "proper" tools in under 5 minutes as well as back on in under 5. But i did need them to put the new rubber on that i picked up. So i brought my bulldog stand out there, propped my bike up and just took the shit off right in front of the shop (this was after i had a fight with the shop manager about the fact that his employee merely said they would "look" at it to see if it was fixable and he didnt say he was taking it off). He was acting like it was supposed to be common knowledge that they would have to take the tire off, when ive seen and heard of people simply filling in their tire with some kind of rubber glue/patch material, so as far as i was concerned it didnt HAVE to come off. I said i saw it his way, but he needs to see it mine to and we can compromise on price a little, and he wouldnt. So i just told them they lost my business. I paid 120 bucks to have my tire taken off and put back on, meaning i just paid someone for 2 hours worth of work that i was able to do in less than 10 minutes!?!? Fuck Casey Cycle. Their sales dep isnt bad, but i wont ever go there for service again, ever!
lots. Go to cycleforums and then sportbikes then northeast then virginia then coast riders. There was a whole thread on there about them dicking people over. If you're going to buy local then redline cycle in yorktown is good and the only way to get a decent deal/person to work with is to buy from Kevin aka Nut at casey cycle city. I bought from him and would only buy from him again.
Like what??? So far he quoted me close to higher 9g, bike was like $8200, the only thing I was curious about the deal was the assembling fee(600+)...Is that shit right???
