Ride Tonight
You bitches make me sick!
I'm so envious. I havent been able to ride during all this beautiful weather because of this goddamn cast on my left foot (no shifting for me). To top it all off, its being sold this weekend to a friendly dragva'er, thus he shall become one of you while i leave you all behind (well, since i only have a civic i guess the proper term would be [I]ahead[I]).
What will i do without 2 wheels!?!? This is so shitty. I wanted to keep riding season after season after season. I hope this is only temperary. Maybe over the summer ill work 3 jobs and make enough dough to pick-up a liter bike.

Just incase the he wants to keep it confidential i'll keep his sn out of here, but he seems like a pretty cool fellow. Im sure he'll come into the Cycle Corner and post up all the time, then you can drop all your knowledge on a new Jedi Apprentice. I must retire the lightsaber to someone else.
As for the foot, i fractured it in three places. It happened at my job (IMAX theatre), i was moving a film platter (a massive reel) onto a fork lift. If you can image a typical cross drilled rotor, thats what the platter (and by massive i mean about 4 1/2 feet tall) looks like. Now top the platter off with 72mm film on it and you have yourself a 370lbs film platter. Basically i was loading it onto the fork lift arms, and the platter was leaning against the arms, but the arms were too high, so i begin to lower them (this makes lift the platter up onto the arms easier). When the arms began to lower, the platter began to less lean-grip against the arms because the actually forklift was being pushed by the weight. Instinctively (I say that because if a platter falls on the floor, it like trying to get a manhole up with your bare hands) i reached out to grab it, missed by a split second, and SMASH-PEANUT-BUTTAH.
Starting today i only have 1 week left in the cast, but alas, the bike will be gone by then.
