As soon as a salesperson notices it is missing, they report it to dmv. so i would send it to dmv or the dealership if you know where it came from.

LOL.... I called them today.... They're going to trade me 3 full tanks of gas for the plate.... I can live with that...

Holy shit. Someone on here actually did the right thing, and in return it pays off with 3 free tanks. That'd be over $200 in my truck.
