500 bucks...good brand..if i have to get a better amp i will..ill mesaure my speakers tomrow night *is preapring for his midnight till 9am shift* and at least 2 loud as subs to go in my trunk...2 front speakers..and 2 6x9's to replace the ones i have on the rear hatch lid i blew out...

if you get a good quality 12" you'll be amazed. I know people hit upwards of 145 db with an Image Dynamics IDMax with only 500 watts going to it, pretty damn good considering its designed as a SQ sub instead of for SPL

 

Hmmm...i just want a good clean sound..without the distortion...plus ive had my music up enough to blow just about every damn speaker..

 

then you're buying the wrong equipment lol...

 

. . . and don't forget a big reason many people blow speakers is UNDER power. (i.e. Sony, Jensen, etc. . .)

 

230 watt amp 2 130watts 6x9's and than 2 120 watt 5 inchers than 2 of thouse cheap ass walmart 300 watt sub box's running off a 230 amp..and i still fucking blew em ???!!
