yeah but will they pass inspection? if it's not legal i'm a little hesitant to do it. i mean it's bad enough i got that 150 shot in the trunk i don't wanna get pulled for tail lights too...

Why would you want to make it harder for drivers behind you to know that you are there???!?!?! This is a perfect example of "dumb rice". Hope you don't get rear ended on a foggy night.

 

I used to have smoke blackouts on my tail lights- you could still see the brake lights when they came on, albeit they weren't as bright. It did look good IMO, but I took them off cause I didn't want a ticket.

 

As far as cops...I guess it just depends on how dark you make them, I've never been harrased by cops but then again I don't live in Va Beach. They are darker when not breaking, but when breaking or driving at night there's little difference from stock. I don't know about it being rice, but it does look good on certain color cars. And I don't know about amber, but I know they make trans. red, b/c my friend sprayed his tails with it and it made his amber dissapear.
