"I left Sally Fields at the truck stop.....she was a distraction...."

What do you mean by this? Might I suggest you give her car back to. Just kidding. I haven't saw you recently. Where have you been. Jerry

ive been here...just no car. i got my car back, and its going to have to go back in on thursday because hall dosent know how to paint. and you'd think a dealer that sells pontiacs and other gm cars would know to put dex-cool antifreeze in the coolant system? obviously not. ill get over it...i was going to do a coolant flush myself, but they have to do it for me, so that'll save the hassle. oh yeah... complimentary engine rebuild after only 22,000 miles...whoo hoo

back to the autox....approximately how long does it take to get to vmp?

I did pretty well considering I am still getting used to the car. I also closed the gap to Ron a bit. My best time was 53.149. Ron won SM with his best time of 50.7xx. Terry had something around 51. 2xx or so.

Even though Ron still beat me by about 2.5 seconds, the last event he beat me by almost 5 seconds and this was a longer course !

I won't be at VMSC on the 30th since I will be at the Evolution School. But I will try to be at the event this weekend at Fentress (it all depends on how nice I am to the wife this week )

about 1hr 30min cruising at a respectable speed from the gas station at the 460/58 conjunction. it takes me a 30min to get there from battlefield blvd (taking my time).

and to everyone else, i'd hate to bust balls, but keep it on topic. i'm gonna have to write a citation for posting stuff in the wrong thread.....freakin' racers

What's up, i'm #79, this will be my first autocross, first anything actually to do with competing in a car. So...if anyone has any advice on how not to look like an idiot the first time around, let me know :-) I went to the march 9th opener with my friend josh and actually had some fun, i hope the weather duplicates itself for the 30th.

Relax Beck, its Kevin, you will be fine. You hear I snapped my rear sway bar today.. It sucks, got a new one from Excessive today though. See you that friday night Josh and will be down for it. Get those new tires on and take off ur hub caps, so they don't fly off during the event. That would be cool and funny if they did.. LOL

For those of you who have not been to a VMSC event, you should have a blast. I just saw the results from the March 9 auto-x. I ended up taking 2nd in the class (SM) and I got a trophy (so Jerry, you actually have a chance to come home with something since I won't be there !!!)

They run a first class event. I am almost sorry I won't be there on the 30th, but I must attend some training (auto-x training that is, at the SCCA Evolution School in Va Beach )
