oh how the might have fallen....looks like it took a drag car to do it though. Notice the camaro didn't even have working tail lights and clearly was being backed off a trailer in part of the video (sorry Phil) I still say that EVO is damned impressive. Especially when it whoops up on my beloved 03-04 cobras...sob

yeah but that evo was putting out more then 601 whp in that video. it put down that on 30psi, in that video he upped the boost to 33psi and was also spraying a 55shot

backed off a trailer, so maybe he didnt want to waste gas driving a long way, but I did see that car driving in traffic in that video.
high psi tsi guy on here trailers his car to keep from wasting gas, yet he drives it on the street also, its not an all out drag car.

my car has never been on a trailor except when it broke

i don't own a trailor or have easy access to one.. i just suck it up and go down the highway on race gas and be glad that i still get decent highway mileage (30ish mpg highway, 12 city, lol)

link isn't working btw

I swtiched pc's, my monitor isnt as bright. I now see where he backed it off the trailer. I am not downing the evo, fast little car I may add. I just think its impressive that a heavy car like the camaro took the evo in its sweet spot, a turbo from a roll in a much lighter car than the F-Body. Thats what shocked me.

the evo isn't much lighter. the first gen f-bodys weighed around 3000-3300lbs. and that evo stock weights almost 3300lbs, with all the turbo and other mess he has in it it's probably nearing 3600lbs w/ driver. unless it's gutted and i didn't know that :/ from a dig i'd put money on the evo seeing how it has AWD and all, but maybe those slicks make the camaro launch like a bat out of hell

The Evo would lose from a dig, badly. The evo couldn't drop the clutch or else he'd destroy his whole drivetrain. You need some slip to get a good launch. I bet that Camaro if its dialed in properly could pop a few blood vessels on a launch.
