I would have to agree in that situation. With a Metro, you could beat the hell out of it and know that you won't kill the bank to repair it. With a $20k plus car, I don't care what people say, but when it comes time to really get it messy, you will hesitate if possible repair bills start to cross your mind...b/c u will have to kill the bank if something bad happens.
