That was one of the sadder times for my car when it was subjected to sitting in the snow uncovered....lost the car car cover for a week. Wish i could finish the silvia so i could get it in the garage. BTW, the silvia is LHD and still for sale as is my GSXR 600. I have finally sold the MR2 to a guy in TX although I still have it for a couple more weeks.

 

That's OK. There was a pretty sad looking R33 in the parking garage in Philly this past weekend. Car was dirty as shit and it was this terrible plum purple color. Dude had the CLUB on his steering wheel. Car was from NY. I'd post pics, but this site won't accept uploads anymore.

 

Yeah, I know who that guy is. Goes by Pepsi Guru on the GTR board. Lives in NYC. He drove that car all the way from cali and went through the beltway on his way back

 

I don't know what the hell he's thinking. I'm from NYC, and you can't keep ANY car in good shape there. Potholes here aren't shit compared to the LIE or BQE. Living in NY and driving a Skyline....you'd have to live upstate or all the way at the end of Long Island (and never travel with it). That guy is wasting a nice car. But explains why he has the club.

tkrskyline.....just curious. Do you just check this board every now and then, or do you have some kind of radar that tells you whenever somebody mentions your car online?

Site statistics tell you where you are being linked from. I also now check this site form time to time. I just saw on another thread that somone in a mustang claims to have raced and beaten me...hahahahah. Gotta keep these rumors down before they really start.

And the worst road ever is the Cross Bronx Espressway. I drove up to CT, went over to eastern LI, and then came back through the Belt Parkway...all in the skyline. Never again!

It was two years ago, when I drove over it in a riced out DROPPED Civic with oversize wheels, but that was part of the problem.
