Looking to upgrade from my 250. But I'm not really looking to upgrade to a ss or anything. I'm trying to stay in the sport touring-ish class.

Of the sv650, 650r, and yz6 which would you recommend? Or perhaps another bike of similar style that I dont know about?

I started on a SV650. Super fun bike, I would recommend it. I can't speak for any of the others though.

i have an SV650 ... LOVE IT! its so fun, flicks around so easily, nice torque... Just not a lots of power, but coming from a 250 you'll be just fine. . . the 6r-en doesnt look too bad either, but i can dare to say that the SV is a better bike... There's also the gladius, but its def not for everyone... And of course im talking about nakeds, but they all have their respective faired models, except the gladius. . . . Which is very similar to the SV.. I've heard the SV's brakes are better...

personally, i think the gladius has a lot of potential as far as its looks and being a nice fighter or cafe racer. . .

Then again, you have to see what kind of engine you want... I would straight up pick a twin, but maybe you're different and like more power up on top, or the sound....

Yea, I've been leaning more towards the SV (mainly because the other bikes I like are never for sale) but so far, it seems to be the choice. Power isn't a concern at all. I'm not looking for the fastest bike around or anything. Just something that doesn't struggle on the interstate (250 ). And I would prefer a faired model. I'll save the fighter/cafe look for when I lay it down and I'm too poor to replace plastics.

The posts on crash.net were awesome leading up to DP, kind of had me hyped up for two awesome races. I can't say I'm complaining because I'm rooting for Spies, and he definitely put it on just about everybody, but I was hoping for like a four or five bike breakaway for both races that never materialized.

Great points weekend though, let's go!
