PICS MAN! Where's da pics!?
it was too dark and rainy, but i had the fullsize on some trailes and had a little under 6 inches on either side of me next to trees. Pretty decent pits and ruts the whole way too, but still could only play in 2wd :/

Cool, sounds like you had some fun! Sometimes taking full size rigs through stuff Jeep and smaller stuff play in can be pretty technical. Just to maneuver through stuff! Sometimes I miss the FS rides I've had.

it was a pain in the ass, my buddies had fun. I just found myself being far to focused to even be able to really enjoy it

So I boughts a 1998 ZJ a week ago for my girl and just drove it for the first time yesterday. Me likey. Now I'm tempted to look at lifts and wheels/tires. Dammit. Its a 5.2L with 260k miles on it, but it drives great. I need to adjust the steering box tonight and hopefully that tightens up the steering a little. If not, its gonna need a new box eventually.

Foamy, Here's the TJ's Tranny/Xfer case drop kit;

Rough Country Part# 1654BG1
Comes with drop pucks and new hardware. Pretty self explanatory; loosen old bolts, support one side, drop and insert pucks, bolt back together, then repeat on the other side. Should save you from vibrations and eating u-joints. The lift kit instructions say you won't need to do anything to the shift linkage on the transfer case. You might just need to adjust the cable which is easy.

Looks like any comparable kits (Skyjacker) go for $40+ on SummitRacing, I'll ship it to you new in bag for $30.

Watch it man, I know quite a few who have bought Jeeps / 4x for their wife/ girlfriends and ended up getting addicted themselves and having to buy another vehicle to drive. Shit can get addicting.
