either way... turbo prelude vs Single or upgraded twin turbos on a skyline im gonna call BULL SHIT!!! either he skyline dident race... or... ur boy is full of shit. or... skyline was prob just dicken around with him or was just driven normal and prelude had it pinned tryin to keep up or like a typical ricer got his ass kicked and after the skyline won he let out and the prelude flew by him and flipped the haz's like ur typical ricer... either way theres a bunch of senario's pick ur fav one and go with it.

 

that is my friends prelude, yes he did race that white skyline on 95 north a couple months ago. He came across the skyline on the highway and they matched speeds and both raced. The prelude did win, but the guy in the skyline was out tuning his car at the time, so it was not fully tuned, but he did race. The thread was on Honda-tech a while ago.

Do not underestimate this prelude. My friend does not go out racing every night trying to “win respect” on the streets. It is damn fast. But I am not aloud to release information about his setup or power output. As he does not want people to know. Which I don’t blame him because it is a Honda. If you would like to run his car, he would be happy to.

 

id be more then happy to race him just to see what a turbo prelude has.. but come on... he beat a untuned skyline... "yes thats fucking hot because he can say he beat a skyline, i mean how many people can say that?" BUT... when skylines are right.. there un stopable. id put my money any day on the skyline because i know just how sick they can be with even STOCK turbos and fuel... so this guy has bigger turbos and injectors witch means 450+whp meaning that car has the potential of going 11's no problem now depending on tuning, fuel and how big the turbos is and boost i dont see why not a skyline going 10's I know the R32 that lives near me that one thats silver that showed up has a huge single turbo and is VERY VERY sick. id give me right nut and my car just to own a STOCK skyline...

thats strait... ill just say this.. i dont even need to run him just need to know his qr mile time... my best is 12.70 on street tires at 113 so if he is faster then that thumbs up to him thats cool! but im a 300zx on stock turbos and fuel so i can only dream of what its like to have bigger turbos then what i have from factory + awd. i wish i owned a skyline.... :-(

 

ok im a nissan lover too and i think you should calm down about skylines being unstopable..i know about the h22 and when a friend told me that they raced i already knew the outcome..im not giving any info on the h22 cause the guy is cool and isnt a dick head..but come on man skylines arnt monsters or anything..there are many awd cars here in the us that are just as fast or faster than the skyline

It's all prestige. Granted the Skyline can perform with the best if setup correctly, but much of the Skyline hype comes from the fact that it isn't available for sale in the US unless you pay a lot of cash to get one imported into the country. If the Skyline became for sale in the US, much of the hype surrounding it would disappear within the first 2 years of it being sold at your local Nissan dealership.

 

I believe I'd rather have a brand new Ford GT or SRT-10. If you drove a Skyline ricers would cling onto your car and hold on for dear life while you try to throw them off swerving going 80mph down the road

suppose to be priced right above the 350z but keep the awd and twin turbo but will most likely have the 3.5 l motor as the 350z does. Only problem is it might be called the q45 or something like that when it comes to america as a infinity.
