Oh how I want a diesel truck, just holding off as long as I can for play money to build Jeeps.

 

Yours is nice but I'm looking to stay under $12,000. I have found alot of very nice trucks under my price range that I'm going to look at already.

just curious...knew a JB who was John Baliey and he built Jeeps...anyhoo what you lookng to build? My next project will be either another wrangler or a 2door XJ

 

My DD 01 TJ is setup on 4in lift, 1.25body, 35 MT/Rs, 4.88's, locked.....yada yada

My 03 TJ has Dana 60 and a dana 70 axle combo going in it. AW4 Auto trans. 4.0 motor. About all Ive collected so far. It was a front end collision Jeep, clean title stripped down. I got it with a new frame, the tub, all wiring and interior minus seats. I've got a hood, grill, and fenders for it. Thats as far as I've gotten so far on it.

 

nice setup...where'd get the 60/70 setup Dodge?

Do you wheel in Crozet any? I used to trail guide for Chris there a lot when I had a tril rig...sadly now I just have a 5.9 ZJ on 31's lol

I have two dana 70's, one from a chevy and I believe the other is from a Ford. I'll have to check the BOM to see exactly what make and year

I've wheeled Crozet once last year. Charles King was our trail guide. I know him personally. I want to go more but I tend to try and wheel my DD Jeep easier but on the trails I tend to forget I'll go back soon an try not to tear anything up. I use to wheel it a lot harder when I had another DD. Now with this other Jeep build I'm trying to keep the other TJ a DD as long as I can.
