Honda Ruckus / Scooter Thread
He means the part about NOT BEING ALLOWED TO RIDE ON STREETS WITH A POSTED SPEED LIMIT ABOVE 35. The law is actually 45mph posted. Unless your locality is different from mine. Henrico follows state law with only one addition. You must have eye protection (goggles/safety glasses/face shield)
SN; "Animal transportation" isn't allowed on anything posted above 30mph. Just thought I'd throw that in there.
EDIT: I'm looking for where I read the 45 mph thing.
EDIT AGAIN:
Cant find the OG link, but it links to this law at the end of the paragraph:
http://leg1.state.va.us/cgi-bin/legp...0+cod+46.2-877
Has something to do with not impeding traffic. 15mph below is considered impeding traffic in Henrico. Can't vouch for ya'lls area.

I listed the DMV Moped definition since they dont technically have a Scooter definition. I am sure State Troopers are using this to follow for any guidelines for Scooters.

Here is the codes, they are under Chapter 7: http://library.municode.com/HTML/101...49SAEQREMOOPPA

BTW: Anyone wanna throw some paint scheme ideas at me?
I was thinking gloss teal (more on the light blue side) on tubes/seat rail/battery box.
Gloss black on sub frame/wheels/just about everything else paintable.

Last minute update to the Ruckus Meet for those who didn't get the text from Kenny.
