This talk of meaty tires being a new trend... saddens and enrages me. Only because I know what it will lead to; a ridiculous extreme and many thousands of vehicles with nice tires in retarded sizes that they will never use to their potential. Like an Odyssey on wide drag Hoosiers.

I highly doubt meaty tires all around will be anywhere near as big a trend as the slammed, stretched, and poked shit.. of which i rarely see anywhere beside in these threads so im not worried about another dumb gay trend such as that..
hell.. people are still stuck on the Fast & Furious theme from what i saw cruising @ the beach Sunday.. and everyday around Richmond.

I'm reasonably certain that the US dub community didn't start anything in regards to wackball wheel fitment, nor is it a "trend" per se. Insomuch as I'm aware, Shakotan/Zokusha cars have been running around Japan for decades with slam/stretch/poke (and probably someone else prior to that), it's not like it's some kind of passing fad. It doesn't matter who started doing it first in the US.
