Any of you guys or any of you guys that knows a guy that knows a guy looking for a hitch?
I bought a Heavy Duty Hitch off of Craigslist for my 86 F150. It fits the frame rails but won't clear my bumper because my truck has the built in step in the bumper. It's 36inches from center to center on mounting holes. It will work with my truck if my bumper was a low profile bumper, no bumper or if I had a flat bed. This will also work on E-Series vans as well. Maybe even other vehicles with either a welder, some ingenuity or whatever you want to use it for. All I want is my $50 I spent on it. Use it for towing or a great recovery point. I just need it out of the garage.

....and i decided to do it........ dual Grand Rock 6 inch kit (used) it came off of an 04 dually everything fit great except the pipe between the downpipe and flex pipe (i had to shorten it about 4 inches)
(i cried a little when i cut into the bed) (however it was only about a 5 inch cut and Y-pipe for the stacks fits in there like a glove.)
mocked it up:

stacks mounted into the bed:

out with the old shitty rusted exhaust clamps:

in with the new exhaust clamps: (i bought new ones at tidewater fleet supply)

my best friend all day:

and my treat for myself for doing such an awesome job:

the purpose they served was when removing the old exhaust (it was rusted in some spots) i hooked my dads little CR-V up to the exhaust and used that to put tension on a tow rope that i hooked to the exhaust (where it mounts to the hangers) while i used a hammer to loosen the exhaust enough to where it could be pulled off.
anything other questions?

for example.... the old exhaust hangers that i took off (you can see them in one of the pictures) the bolts wouldnt loosen at all.... i literally sheared them off (the bolt itself broke off) on every single one of them....
but it's all 100% brand new down there..... and im debating on taking some measurements and cutting the tops of the stacks to give me that "mitre" cut look..... not sure though. I am going to drive the truck around for awhile and see how i like the flat top look.
4lo with the exhaust off doing pulls down my street with the front end lifting about 4" with my tires looking like \ -- / and the tires chirping between 1&2 and 2&3 with everyone outside cooking/playing = fun
