You are completely right. Hondas are cookie cutters. Everyone does the same thing. No one does anything different.

Hypocrite.

The only difference between Hondas and VWs is you guys do shit that looks stupid. Everyone in each car group does pretty much the same thing, with everyone having their own little differences. Only VW owners think that they are different from every other car group, and are the only original ones.

but when everytime you post your spark up a 15 page arguement where its 5 of you VS almost the entire population of this site you would think you guys would go do that shit elsewhere, and realize your not impressing anyone here, and the worst part about it is, its not even your cars half the time, shit it seems to me like your cars actually look better in some cases then this bullshit you post up here.

VWVORTEX.com

see ya

Curious to why VW people post here?...hmm, been here awhile. I'm here because I like to see what is happening locally and like other's cars too. It's nice to see other types of cars at a get together instead of looking at the same damn friends cars over and over. I've never come on here and started shit, ran my mouth, or bashed anyone... everyone has their own taste. I don't give a shit what people think of anything I've ever built, I built it for ME...not to impress anyone. I don't come on here claiming that VW's are god's gift to the modified scene...we're more like the bastard step-child...

Mike (Nagger), I look forward to meeting you someday, to introduce myself and see your car in person... and to show you that not all VW people think they are "better" than anyone else.

hondas are cookie cutter cars, i have talked to many of people about starting new things with their hondas, be the OG of a new style, no one wants to take my advice. why? because most of the hondas are cookie cutter style. JDM lights, JDM lip, JDM whale wing, and then you throw it all away by putting replica wheels on your car. IE drag (equip 04 reps) or you put rotas or Konig remembers, and the list goes on

agreed' with the above post, i never once said VW was better than anything else, i admit all the time to everyone at car meets, that VW lacks in most departments. i dont build my car for vortex, and i SURELY dont build it for drag. its my art work

Take a look at this:

I think that it's important for people bashing Volkswagen owners to understand that bad fitment doesn't stop with Golfs and Jettas. Regardless of whatever "style" you choose to associate yourself with, there will always be people who can pull off ridiculous wheel fitment or just look goofy in the process, case in point with this RX. Personally, I think that this fitment is disgusting, but I won't hate all RX-7's just because a handful of enthusiasts choose to run stupid amounts of poke and/or tire stretch.

My only argument with that RX7 is the extra wide tires/wheels are probably put on there in an attempt to obtain more grip. I have no problem with someone hacking their fenders completely off with a hacksaw to clear room for 315's, etc since it's usually done for a performance purpose. I just can't quite wrap my head around some of these VWs that just want a giant wheel, but a skinny tire (9" wheel with 225 for example); it doesn't help handling, doesn't increase grip. If these VWs had 9" wheels with 275s sticking inches past the fenders, I'd have no issue. I realize it's a style and just for looks, just don't get the point of it all personally. No offense intended.

That's definitely one of the better looking VWs I've seen in a while.

Missing one point in your write up, ITS RWD. Wide tires and stance in the back will make sense out on the track.
