If these VWs had 9" wheels with 275s sticking inches past the fenders, I'd have no issue. I realize it's a style and just for looks, just don't get the point of it all personally. No offense intended.
None taken. My only response would be that this particular RX-7 is an Ab-Flug show car, not a double duty street/track car. In that respect, it does get a hell of a lot of publicity which is a big plus for the company.
Yes, that looks very nice. I also think your car looks good as well (although I liked the darker color on the wheels better). It's the ones you posted at the beginning of the thread I'm not a big fan of.

yeah, that's kind of why I said "probably put on there in an attempt to obtain more grip". I can't give it full credit since it's mostly just for show. Would respect that RX7 more if it does actually see track time of some sort with that setup.
