I will second that welded diffs suck for daily driving. Just riding in coreys car was a nightmare with his...oh and they do aid it hitting trees if your in to that kind of thing haha

Agreed welded diff isn't great for DD. I like it, but I rarely drive my car unless I'm taking it somewhere to slide. Also, I don't think the welded was what put you into the tree. It was more likely dealing with the crown and surface of that road whilst sideways.

there were a lot of factors that aided in putting me into those trees. It was just a bad situation all around, and i learned much from it.
edit- they have since re-paved that road though. If they ever close it off again, i might press my luck and try again
