i am in no way shape or form saying that vw people should not post on this board im saying stop posting this VW shit that you guys are posting.
the bays i posted were the first 3 bays i found, i could link a thread that goes on for years full of honda bays shaved and tucked. and there are mustang bays i recall that are insane and put alot of honda bays to shame, i am by no mean biased to any particular car make, i love almost every car, but when it comes to VW's im not impressed by anything they have ever accomplished or tried to, so to ME they are a waste of sheet metal. (there was ONE car i know was fast as all holy hell. but one dosent change the world)
and im not saying all vw people are tools, i have never said that once, i have only said that the DUB STYLE shit is for you guys and the nigs.
i know people who own vws that think the whole wide wheels are the gayest thing ever, and i have meet i think jus dubin before at freedom and he seemed like a chill ass guy, its not a personal grudge here, its just this trend you guys keep posting is here is a VW trend, and this isnt a VW site, nor will it ever be. but their are vw owners on this board and that isnt a issue.
just the poking wheels are stupid and there isnt enough nut riders of that shit to make a new thread on it every week.....
it gets old, you post it, its fine, we dont need to see the new kid on the blocks in the VW communitys wheels that dont fit. hardly anyone cares..... just the few vw people that are on this site. and im sure they are members on the VW site that you saw it on, so they dont need to see it here twice.

I think that it's important for people bashing Volkswagen owners to understand that bad fitment doesn't stop with Golfs and Jettas. Regardless of whatever "style" you choose to associate yourself with, there will always be people who can pull off ridiculous wheel fitment or just look goofy in the process, case in point with this RX. Personally, I think that this fitment is disgusting, but I won't hate all RX-7's just because a handful of enthusiasts choose to run stupid amounts of poke and/or tire stretch.

My only argument with that RX7 is the extra wide tires/wheels are probably put on there in an attempt to obtain more grip. I have no problem with someone hacking their fenders completely off with a hacksaw to clear room for 315's, etc since it's usually done for a performance purpose. I just can't quite wrap my head around some of these VWs that just want a giant wheel, but a skinny tire (9" wheel with 225 for example); it doesn't help handling, doesn't increase grip. If these VWs had 9" wheels with 275s sticking inches past the fenders, I'd have no issue. I realize it's a style and just for looks, just don't get the point of it all personally. No offense intended.
the car may be a show car but its RWD, and im pretty sure if im not mistaken the ABflug show car actually makes a hefty amount of HP....
so traction issues may become less of a problem with tires that wide.
