Cleaned all the brackets and the crud off the 60 and hit it with some primer


Stuck it back under the Jeep

Decided to remove the body off the frame to start the frame clean, removal of brackets


Gotta be blinging when I cruise the malls on forties




Primed up





Will be removing unwanted brackets off the frame next. Trying to get a friends plasma cutter over to make things a lot easier.

 

yes i left the glue on there. yes theres dark spots(dont use burgundy rust primer to spot treat bare metal on a white fender). no i dont care about either. yes its a shitty job. plan is to get home from wheelin and buy a can and fix and bad scratches and not care. yes it glows under a blacklight haha

and actually mines gonna sit the same to. his is fullwidth and 37s also

 

got it back on. now you can really see what i meant by the primer making dark spots. ill prob end up redoing it :/

 

Freddy I decided to SAS as well.. I'm going to use an XJ D30 on coils and long arm it. Any idea what coils I should use?


Does anyone have a friend with an XJ Cherokee with ~6in of lift and long arms? I'm going to fab my own and just need measurements.

 

to bad you arent closer buttwad. i have a narrow d44 and my neighbor has 2 d30s sitting for scrap. ones bent up and the other he took brakes and stuff off of for a g2 d44

 

only reason I'm looking for an XJ D30 is for ABS and the high pinion.. :/

 

delete the abs and if you stay around 5" you dont need hp. turdle had a lp on his white truck. mine has no hubs(takes d44 ttb hubs anyway). all you gotta do is come get it
