Post pics of your ride!
To give you an idea of what im talking about, Im shooting for a solid 300whp to start out with. Im planning on running 550cc Injectors, z32 MAF, S-AFC and Tomei Pon cams with my Isis RS3871 Turbo...should have no problem exceeding my hp goals with that setup.
It doesnt take a lot to make SR's powerful...but you dont want to start out with a motor built for power you cant handle yourself. Take the time to enjoy the SR20 in all of its stock glory for a little while.
Possibly both if all things go as planned, I picked up an GE spracing divided manifold just undecided on the turbo sizing. I'm tempted to do a 4" straight back as it will make the most power and look wicked but I'd have to have a way to quiet it down when I need to.
shocker sticker ruins it...sick other than that!
What about a 4in electronic cutout and a much smaller diameter piping for the rest of the exhaust?

Being as its your first turbo car, the stock SR will be a huge step up from the KA. Swap in the SR, get a decent front mount intercooler/piping, a boost controller, a good clutch and a VLSD and you would be good to go. Crank up the boost and run the stock turbo til it dies! Then you can decide how you want to build the motor from there. 300whp can be easily achieved with a few simple mods.
