Team Sumospeed Charity Car Show Oct.25th, 2008
For those who came out stayed a bit and for those who came and stuck it through till the END, I would like to thank you very much. Although the inclement weather did indeed keep many away and some a little unsure of attending, the numbers were very nice for the conditions. It did turn up to be a big turn out, yielding at roughly 330-360 people who came out. Even for those who only came for a few hours and left, your time and consideration is greatly appreciated as well.
Without your, the community's, help and time we(sumospeed) would not have been able to yield a nice charity proceed to CHKD.
I would like to say, and can confidently say on behalf of all of Sumospeed that we had a blast, and it was a pleasure to be able to bring an event like this to the community. Granted it was smaller than we projected and anticipated at first, it was still a wonderful event that is indeed for a great cause and that in itself is our grand reward. Of course, we are always looking for ways to bring together the Auto-Enthuiast community, so always keep a look out as we are always trying to set up an event that everyone can have a great time.
I hope that in addition to the Car Displays and the endless opportunities to mingle and meet new people, that everyone was able to have an awesome time with Music, food, and most DEFINITELY the Drift Demonstration and Generous "Ride alongs" that were held throughout the event.
Once again thank you greatly to all the people who came out and had a great time, although the weather was not in our best interest. Big Thanks to our Sponsors and Partners, who helped greatly in donating money to even have the venue to host the event, and Of course thank you to those who have helped make this show as great as it ended up to be, volunteer workers, sumospeed members and all those just gave in some time and work, even those outside Sumospeed.
-JayR Legaspi and all of Sumospeed

great event sumo, thanks!
i was seriously tempted to slide the 300zx after hearing the 'track' was open.. then a while later i heard only sumo was being allowed to drft.

no biggie, it just would have been nice to get a few new shots of the Z in action again.
who was it that said the potholes were fixed?
they were, trust me, they were waaaay worse than that!. but with the rain, being that some/ most of the top layer of the holes were filled with dirt, they hadn't really had much time to settle and smooth out properly.... the last time i drove my car in there, i was scrapping floor board and everything else!! haha
