You can get those bullet swamp coolers on eBay or reproductions, but the reproductions usually don't actually work from what I've heard. I like the Thermador ones better, just because of the aesthetics.

The original ones go for a decent chunk of change. I picked one up at the Rose Bowl flea market and doubled my money before I made my way out of the parking lot. In hindsight I probably should have asked more for it...

I like the building. I've had a few pictures saved from that blog post because I really liked the look of that clear canopy with the yellow framework. I started to design a garage breezeway a while back based on those pics, with a little less industrial feel to it.

I think those overfenders are crap. I understand the traditional style behind them, but they're just too over-the-top.

 

that looks like pure ass. if the width of your wheels exceed the diameter you just shouldnt.
