15mb Cox with speedboost. pulls bandwith when it isnt being used by the node. You will see close to the fios speeds.

cox uses HFC. Hybrid Fiber Coax. The network is fiber. the lines to the house are still coax. Running fiber lines to the house isnt cost effective.

If you have a dedicated pipe from the CO to the house, whey do connection speeds drop depending on neighborhood usage?
By hybrid fiber coax, you mean fiber to a point, then it's copper the rest of the way? Is hybrid/fiber Coax a cool new term to make it sound like it's a special conductor that uses both at the same time?
