I have done probley five H22/h23 swaps in to 92/95 an 96/99 civics. They do handle diffrent than a b series civic but they also pull harder tahn a b series . They have more torqe and a little more horse power . For an all motor setup I would do an h22 but for boost I would do a b series .

From what i understand a B18B can handle the most psi/cfm with the stock internals.

h23 can handle an equal amount of boost....but dont forget fellas, the main downside to having the h22 is the fact that u have to resleeve the block which sucks, but if you were going to fully rebuild the block anyway, go with the h22...for boost h22 has nearly half a liter more displacement than the b18's...so the choice would be h22 because the turbo runs off of exhaust

Read again... it's heresay, all totaled up a H22 might weigh 20-30 more than a b series... and the motor does NOT change your turning radius.... thats just crazy, ask someone with a H series and then ask someone with a B series, preferably on honda-tech, you won't find an objective opinion here on dramaVA

compromsie anyone ? h22+b18=40 /2 = B20!!!!! thats sum math for ya...more torque then a b18 block and .2 liters more for turbo.... i dunno ive heard of h22's spinning bearings allot, i think it would be easier to do a b series into a civic because they are more closely related to integras than accords or 'ludes

I don't know firsthand how long they take before spinning bearings but they do have reps for it, Crate knows, I have 52k on mine and no probs yet.... *crosses fingers*
