Simply put, time and money. I had bought a set of Toyo axles but sold them because I was laid off from my job and needed to make a vehicle payment. Time being it was just easier to go ahead and build the Sami axles Chromo shafts w/ gears. I don't plan going any bigger than a 35" tire for now. When I do go bigger (36-37") then I'll do the swap along with other stuff. Unless I break every time I turn around.

LOL, yeah. I'm going to have a friend that works here locally for Truck Bodies to go ahead and lengthen my shafts for me. That should fix it.

You still own the Samurai? I remember seeing pics of it in here somewhere.

Got the rear brake lines put on, rear shocks on, front spring pins flipped, perches welded on, axle hung, tires/wheels put on, front brakes done, front shocks on (for now), steering hooked up, frond spring bracket brace bolts drilled and bolts in place, front shackle bump stops on, exhaust hooked back up.... I'd love that! I have a couple more issues that I need to work out first. Hopefully I'll be ready. (completely)
If you ever have a empty seat, I'd love to go and check it out. Its been forever since I've been out there.

Sounds good, depending on work schedule, me and dad may try to get back up there next month, so maybe you could come along with me then. I always can use a good co pilot / spotter
