orange ef hatch with black wheels?

Re: orange ef hatch with black wheels?
Honestly I cannot plead with the OP enough NOT TO DO THIS, the body is so obviously not OEM that it looks rattlecanned and black (or blue in this case) wheels are way played out. Also wtf happened to the fartcan on that Honda? (I know it's not yours but still, did anyone else notice that?)

Re: orange ef hatch with black wheels?
i actually think the hatch in the original pic looks good as it is with the white wheels and i really dont even like white wheels... i would want the black mouldings and mirrors and door handles etc though. i like the black contrast
i have 3 hondas and honestly they arent really worth it to do so much work to and spend so much money on.... so thats the only reason id say not to do it. hahaha. save up for a nicer car later

Re: orange ef hatch with black wheels?
it's red now so i'm thinking about a $300 maaco job on it so at least it looks uniform instead of peeling clearcoat and being faded.
gonna do ls/vtec soon so it'll have a decent motor, gonna be a daily not a show car, but i dont want it looking like complete ass ya know?

Example:
The best part is that the EF hatch is one of the few cars that I think can actually pull off champ white, then go for some white wheels and then you're officially part of the honda club. But in all seriousness I think champ white would look better (and garner less hatred from the fine members of vadriven).

Re: orange ef hatch with black wheels?
If the clear coat is fading, try wet sanding it first....you might be suprised what a good wet sanding will do to improove a look on an old faded paint job...if that doesn't work, commence with the piss blasting....

Re: orange ef hatch with black wheels?
i was debating between white and keeping it red like it was originally. not sure which I should do. You know i'll be cheap and not pay the money to get the door jams and engine bay painted. lol

Re: orange ef hatch with black wheels?
This annoys the piss out of me whenever I see it, a co worker of mine had his eg coupe painted a darker blue when it was originally teal, you can still see the teal in the sunroof, trunk jam, hood, door jam. I'm so OCD about that shit (like yesterday I noticed some clear coat was finally cracking and coming of my car's 12 year old paint and I had to restrain myself from peeling it all off). But if you're in doubt just keep it red and get new clearcoat (or post pics up here and we'll tell you the best course of action i.e. paint or piss blast)

Re: orange ef hatch with black wheels?
orange is my favorite color
def wouldnt recommend their shitty ass paintjobs with their crap paint and lack of prep work.
i love teal/black/white/red ef hatches but that orange COULD look good, no black wheels.... ever. they are all sick as shit. just keep the black contrast, i think it looks cheesy when you paint the mouldings and everything the same color
