I knew there was a thread about this on here already but I didn't see it at all, I must be blind.

yea great time. we got there late so we were so busy running around trying to take it all in I didn't take hardly any pictures.

immediately it was obvious that, damn!, has the race grown at vir. there were more fans, way way more stuff going on like displays, stores, demos, shows, etc.

unfortunetly the first thing we saw when driving in was a very nasty scene in the esses with a red bull rookies cup rider being transported out by ambulance and then another two being taken out by helicopter, you really hate to see that but especially with those young kids

but that aside the racing was all great, awesome to see a couple CCS guys mixing it up and beating some AMA regulars

yeah those red bull kids where going hard
when that wreck happened the people that where up in the VIP section where rushing around to get things flowing
Hence the Stunt show starting early

For the record, I've never heard anyone say anything nice about Ben Spies other than his riding ability... As far as his personality, or how humble he is, not so much. He's an asshole.

Jason Britton and Mat Miladin were two of the coolest and most humble people I've ever met. I had a brief conversation with Jason regarding something that took place on StuntLife and he thanked me for taking up for him because he remembered the conversation that we had... He had a bunch of haters bashing him and his wife because he made it and they didn't.

Yea I agree, I've never liked Spies. Mladin you either love or hate, I've always really liked him, at times he can come off like a dick or even be one, but at least he speaks his mind and gives halfway interesting inverviews unlike Spies.

It must be nice to be on top of the world looking down, regardless.. I guess it's just a matter of how you handle it. I'm sure it's frustrating to get done with a race and everyone wants a picture or autograph with you, but I think he handled it like a champ. He absolutely killed it yesterday! I don't know what the gap was between first and second place but it was huge. Every time they passed us he had a different person in front of and behind him. He was lapping people! lol
