My sleeves were almost $1,000 lol. I say keep saving and do it right the first time. Or atleast buy the turbo parts slightly used that way you can stay a little closer to your budget.

Op,

A full engine build will cost well over the amount that you are trying to spend. I would buy all the parts to do the LS Vtec for now and then pick up parts here and there to complete you turbo build.

The statement about a loan for a project car the reason that it is a bad idea is becasue things are not selling and if you happen to get into a jam with your cash flow you will take a big hit in order to sell anything.

thanks guys and its not really a project car its all finshed except interior and mybe a little more suspension...the motor is the last thing
