ALso, check the wire that goes into the main distrubution panel under the hood, on the shock tower (passenger side). Then check the main fuse in there...
it is supposed to pop if your battery grounds out.

lets not foget taht the battery could have a dead cell in it which would show 12 volts but when you hit the key it could drop to nothing and yes if it is arcing then you need to check all your connections

yeah i checked the fuses on my shock tower on the passenger side i saw a battery fuse and ecu fuse both looked ok to me,, when i hit the key its like i dont even have a battery in the car, i get nothing.............

Well i dont know what to tell you did you get the batterys voltage tested maybe teh battery is just dead or or possible you fried the wires going to your batter or maybe the conectors just have alot of corrosion on them and need to be cleaned

well im going to work on it some more today, i think im going to start off by installing a new battery and replacing both the ground and the poss cables, and go from there..........oh i also forgot to add that the poss cable thats on there is about 2ga wire and the ground is like a 14ga wire. i think that both are supposed to be the same ga wire correct??
