point is though, that all the 600's are about the same. sucks kawi had to put out 636 to compete with all the other 600's, because the zx6rr couldnt hang with the other 600's in stock form. and thats exactly what the 636 does, it compares to other 600cc bikes..

and lets go paul, im interested to run you. i dont think you could hang honestly.

edit: and the thread has completely gone off subject.
are u talking about me? i own a kawa636 and a gsxr1000 so i can't think that my 636 is the best bike in the world.

i dont disagree with you, but i think if they were going to make a bike bigger than a 600, why not go after suzuki's 750? instead they made a 'track' zx6rr so that you could technically run in 600cc classes, then a 636 for the streets. im in no way saying i dont like kawi, infact, if i didnt hate the why the front fairing feels/looks when sitting on the bike, id probably be on a 06 black 636. i just dont see why they didnt go bigger than 636cc's.

the zx6rr seems decent, but its more expensive, all the mag. articles say they dont compare to the other bikes unless you mod it. i hear the rear shock/spring is setup incredibly stiff, the wind screen cuts off your view of the gauges while not tucked behind it... it feels physically bigger when you sit on it. and the 636 has ~36cc's more than the competition, and its not that much faster, if faster at all.. thats my argument. but.. all this goes with me never had ridden one, im not afraid to admit that..

I had a guy from Kentucky deliver mine for $6200 with 1600 miles on it.. Delivered with a rear stand, two jackets, and a nice pair of AGV pants.

Your asking price is fair. I'm just saying I got a hell of a deal on mine.
