If it were me though and I were going to buy a b series I would want something with a little more ass to it. With numbers like that im sure it would be all the more wise to just swap a newer d series and save some money
Just about about all honda motors are that weak right? except maybe the more recent ones.
true about the dseries. is it illegal to have anypart of a b20 in a civic doesnt it come from a suv??
Naw. The law generally states the swapped motor must be newer than the chasis its in. Va doesn't enforce anything like that and it only really applies in ca.
Cherrod-i mean that's still pretty weak, especially for a b series. Not saying a b series is the greatest honda motor ever, or motor in general. Just in case my honda views aren't well known
I know the newer si has almost 200hp and the s2000 has somewhere around 240 with absolutly no torque. I had a '90 crx hf with like 50hp and I loved that thing to death should of never sold it, second best car I've ever owned.
It was really all gas milage that i loved other then that getting it to highways speeds was a patience test for sure.
Id love a crx hf to daily. Such great mileage. I remember reading about the prototype model being so weak and having such tall gear ratios in couldn't get up the hills in san francisco where it was being test driven.
